We're hiring Senior HR Manager / HR Manager – OEM Battery Manufacturing

Experience: 7–12 Yrs of HR Experience, Including 5+ Yrs in Manufacturing / Plant HR

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning

  • Handle hiring for white-collar, blue-collar & technical plant roles (operators, QA, R&D, maintenance, logistics).
  • Build recruitment pipelines through ITI colleges, technical institutes, apprenticeships & vendors.
  • Plan manpower based on production schedules & reduce attrition/overtime dependency.

2. HR Operations & Employee Life Cycle

  • Manage onboarding, induction, documentation & HRIS updates.
  • Oversee attendance, shifts, OT, leave and payroll inputs.
  • Ensure discipline, adherence to Standing Orders & smooth exit processes.

3. Industrial Relations & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all labour laws (Factories Act, CLRA, ESIC, PF, PoSH, etc.).
  • Handle labour inspections, audits & statutory filings.
  • Manage contractor relations, grievance handling & maintain harmonious IR.

4. Performance Management & Training

  • Drive goal setting, appraisals & competency mapping.
  • Identify skill gaps & execute technical/safety/leadership training.
  • Build training calendars & support career growth/succession planning.

5. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Conduct engagement activities across shifts & welfare programs.
  • Run skip-level meetings, surveys & feedback forums.
  • Promote a culture of safety, discipline & continuous improvement.

6. HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Track HR MIS—attrition, absenteeism, OT cost, productivity, hiring metrics & training hours.
  • Use analytics to support decision-making.

7. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Coordinate with EHS for safety compliance & training.
  • Manage medical check-ups, PPE, uniforms, canteen, transport & welfare facilities.

8. Policy Implementation & Governance

  • Update and implement HR policies for plant operations.
  • Ensure consistent policy adherence across all shifts.
  • Maintain governance on discipline, attendance & work culture.
